Birdwatching in the rain

We missed the sunshine at the start of the day but enjoyed watching birds at the hide though a veil of water. The rain drumming on the roof was remarkably relaxing and a mindful moment was experienced. Wish we had remembered our binoculars - we have been delighted with our RSPB set.
